When it comes to Tournament Operations I feel that Organization is key. I pride myself in being very organized in creating, executing and finalizing a golf event. Communication between myself and my staff is a must, without communication many things can go wrong. I train my staff to provide a high level of customer service and be very detail oriented when running an event. Finally, I evaluate and conclude each event as if it were the Member-Guest, and look at what we could have been done better, and what was done well.

(Above)Here is a photo of myself going over the format for an outing that we had here at Wianno Club. The gentleman play a 1-2-3 (Par 5-4-3) Net Competition. Easily confused with this format, I am able to clearly speak to them and make sure they understand this format and send them on their way to play golf on a wonderful morning.

(Above) Here is a photo of what our Tournament Operations Set Up looks like at Interlachen Country Club in Edina, Minnesota with the beautiful 6th and 7th hole in the background

(Above) Here is two photos of an event where I was the staff lead for Interlachen Country Club in Edina Minnesota one of our 2 Men's One-Day Member Guest Days. The photo on the left is before and the photo on the right is after. We always do parimutual betting and many options for members and their guests to be involved in other events besides golf.

(Above) Here is a photo of the prize table and the prizes we hand out during our Men's Invitational at Hole-In-The-Wall Golf Club. We set all the prizes up off the 18th green and announce our winners after a 5 team shootout.

(Below) Here are two photos of our Men's Invitational at Wianno. You can see the scoreboard has been printed in house off of our very own plotter printer and the caligraphy is done after each 9 hole match. After all matches have been completed, the winner of each flight enters into a 2 hole aggregate shootout to determine the overall Wianno Invitational Champion. During the last day, we set up a table on our 1st and 10th tee boxes with the prizes to be won for the weekend event.

(below) The photo below shows a trophy overlooking our 4th and 5th hole at Wianno. This trophy was brought in this year for our Centennial year. This trophy is awarded to both the Low Net and Low Gross Men and Ladies Stroke Play during our fourth of July weekend.

(below) Here is a photo early in the 2016 season with myself (left) the head pro and two other assistants working at our podium as a tournament is coming in. Here we are collecting the scorecards from the event and making sure everything is correct. Many times at Wianno, we have a golf event come off the golf course and with the separation of a main club house and a golf house, we have to work quick and accurate to get the results down to the main club house.

(Below) are two photos of two different scoreboards I created for some of our events at Hole-In-The-Wall Golf Club.

(Below) I would consider tournament operations one of my key strengths as a PGA Professional. Below you can see two snips from two different tournament operations. Golf Genius and Eventman. Both of which I have mastered and am very well versed when it comes to using these programs to help create an exceptional golf event.

(Below) Below are some examples of items I have created to help run a very successful golfing event. Checklist, Scorecard Back, Staff Schedule so everyone knows where to be at the right times, Results, Summary (in PDF Form)
